If you want to run a busines activity in an area managed by DOC you'll need to apply for a concession. Find out how to apply for one.

Research, collection and wildlife permits

You need permits to collect and/or undertake research on plants, animals or geological samples or to take, hold, release or kill protected species.

Scientific research permits under the Marine Reserves Act 1971

If you are monitoring or researching within a marine reserve you may need a permit under the Marine Reserves Act.
