If you are hunting with a firearm you need a valid New Zealand firearms licence to get a DOC hunting permit.

To renew or purchase a New Zealand firearms licence go to: www.police.govt.nz/service/firearms.

Apply online for a hunting permit or renew.

Take a hunting survey from Lincoln University
