The North Canterbury & Arthur's Pass area offers walks and tracks for people of all ages and abilities. Walks in Arthur's Pass National Park, Cave Stream Scenic Reserve and Craigieburn Conservation Area range from short strolls to multi-day tramps.

Christchurch and Banks Peninsula

The Christchurch & Banks Peninsula area includes many scenic walks and tramps that provide recreational opportunities for people of varying fitness and skill levels.

Mid and South Canterbury

Aoraki/Mount Cook

There are a number of short valley walks in Aoraki/Mount Cook National Park. People with moderate tramping ability may also want to explore the Mueller Hut Route.
