Description

The Frankton Walkway provides a pleasant stroll along the lakeshore between Queenstown and Frankton. Spectacular views of the Remarkables Range, Cecil Peak and Kelvin Peninsula are gained from vantage points on this track.

The walkway is ideal as an easy bike ride for the family. It is well used by both walkers and bikers, so please keep to the left and bikers use your bell or call when passing.

This is a shared-use track. Follow the mountain bikers code: respect others, respect the rules, respect the track.

Getting there

You can access this track from two points, either from Park Street or at the Frankton Reserve.
