Summary
Aoraki/Mt Cook National Park provides an awesome environment for students to gain a deeper understanding of the proccesses that formed the natural landscape and how people have interacted with it over time. It has the potential to be a rich experiential education site.
This learning resource includes activities that support the development of values and key competencies of the New Zealand Curriculum (2007) through the Level 7 Social Sciences achievement objectives.
It has been updated in 2010 and is now available in full colour.
